Immortals withdraw from ESL Pro League

Immortals have decided to pull out of the ESL Pro League with immediate effect, the tournament organisers have revealed.
In a statement, Immortals CEO Noah Whinston cites "roster instability due to factors outside of the organization's control" as the reason for the team to quit the league.
The Brazilian team had already been granted an emergency transfer following the internal problems that resulted in Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe being released from his contract, and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles and Henrique "HEN1" Teles stepping down from the roster.
With the additions of Caio "zqkS" Fonseca, Lucas "destiny" Bullo and Bruno "shz" Martinelli, Immortals finished out the ESL Pro League season in 12th place, with a 9-17 record - meaning they had to play in the relegation stage to keep their spot in the competition.
Lucas "steel" Lopes's departure to Liquid then left Immortals with a four-man roster, and, to make matters worse, it is reported that zqkS and destiny are unable to enter the United States at the moment due to visa problems.
In a video posted on Twitter, the Immortals CEO confirmed that some of the players on the roster "are undergoing visa issues", while admitting that others are still "new to the game" and not as experienced as steel or Ricardo "boltz" Prass.
The North American organisation will take the next months to evaluate its position in the Counter-Strike scene and all the opportunities that arise to make a "reasoned, patient and calculated" decision about the path to take, Mr. Whinston added.
"I promise that we will be exiting the other side of this Boston Major swing with some concrete plans about how we can get Immortals Counter-Strike back on top," he stated.
Immortals' spot in the Pro League relegation stage has been offered to Ghost, who finished last in the league and were thus set to play in Premier. The North American team's participation is now pending confirmation from the team and a review of their eligibility by ESL.
